I grew up around animals and developed a deep love for them from an early age. But it wasn’t until I entered the dairy industry after graduating from high school that I discovered my true passion for calf rearing and livestock care.
As a young adult with hands-on experience in calf rearing and just two years in the industry, I quickly realised how difficult it can be to stay on top of calf health, treatments, and team communication, especially on busy farms with multiple calf rearers or those with limited staff who find themselves running short on time.
Driven by my commitment to animal health and practical farm solutions, I created Calf Haven: a smart, farmer-focused app designed to help store, track, and alert farmers about vital calf health information. My goal is simple—provide an easy-to-use system that keeps young livestock organised and supported, so nothing is missed when it comes to raising strong, healthy calves.
